Riel Roussopoulos : CEO
Riel is an entrepreneur pure and simple.
With a series of successful small ventures to his name, XLsuite represents the next level of business challenge for him.
As with most projects, XLsuite was born out of a need to manage his own company affairs. Believing that no one's needs are unique, he created XLsuite to help others like him to manage their affairs online.
In addition to developing domain properties, Riel is a talented SEO and internet marketing expert.
He writes regularly on domain development, marketing and SEO issues.
François Beausoleil : Lead Developer
Francois has been working with Riel on this project since day one back in July of 2005. First as it pertained to WePutUpLights.com and then later as it evolved into XLsuite. His background is as a business application programmer on Lotus Notes, Clarion and Java. He was an early adopter of Ruby on Rails and had been a strong proponent of it's benefits since day one. He is quite likely the most prolific open source ruby coder on the planet since XLsuite is to our knowledge the biggest Ruby on Rails code bas that had been released to the open source community (other than the ruby on rails framework itself of course).
Harman Sandjaja : Programmer
Harman is a UBC graduate in Computer Engineering, despite this handicap he's picking up non Microsoft coding skills and learning all about the open source world very quickly (considering his brainwashing). We're very happy to have Harman, he brings very strong work ethic and excellent analytical skills to our team and had proven to be a very quick learner.
Maxim Ionut : Senior Web Designer
A romanian designer with experience in open source platforms like XOOPS, Joomla and Wordpress, Max has been added to the team to help with the CSS work associated with our application development as well as front facing design for our clients.
At the moment he is the senior web designer and the local team leader of our office located in Iasi, Romania.
He is in love with CSS and web marketing and he's currently developing a dedicated CSS / JavaScript framework that would become the base of future projects signed XLsuite.
Spencer Shek : Programmer
Spencer is a graduate of the UBC Computer Engineering Department. He brings a fresh mind and a love of granola bars to our team. Spencer's primary role is as a Ruby developer and is starting to spearhead the programming of individual modules himself as his experience grows.
Madalin Sandu : Designer
Madalin offers a fresh touch of frontend code and style for XLsuite, a welcomed breath of new ideas and approaches for the interfaces you will taste under the XLsuite's umbrella. Serious, commited and hard working, a "made in RO" bee ready to make order in your priorities in order to achieve quality and success. He's still a student at TUI, but he felt he should step in the professional web development world a bit sooner, in order to grow a bit quicker, and given Xlsuite's targets, stronger.
