So annoying ...
While I'm a big fan of Jing and it's ease of use, lets face it, there are more and more good screen recorders out there.
I recently was asked to upgrade my pro jing account again ($15 per year) for what amounts to removing their stupid giant AD at the end of your video, and ... being able to upload straight to youtube.
FINE ... I'll pay you your VIG, despite having paid for a "screencast" video hosting account with it, that does more or less what youtube does anyway, give me a player and interface (the screencast account of course is more).
Anyway ... couldn't upgrade the pro account.
It was stuck in this annoying loop that kept telling me that I already WAS pro, and thus couldn't buy.
SO... off to customer support to tell them they have a problem.
I get an email back saying sorry, we've fixed it .. and BTW...
" I just officially marked your Jing account as free, " (I quote from the email)
So I think ... Oh, well that's nice, compensate me for the pain in the ass factor and comp me a free year.
Nope ... (and to add insult to injury, still have to enter my name into all the stupid forms, even though I'm logged in and they know my name - big pet peeve).
