You know the ones, they're from the government and they usually have something in them telling me that I owe them money.
This one was from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office however, so I opened it right away until waiting for a small windfall.
Finally (applied in Sept 07) our trademark application has been accepted by CIPO and it's official.
The word XLsuite is officially trademarked in Canada.
(as is smRty which I did at the same time)
It'll get published in the trademark journal after May 14th, I guess to allow me to protest any misspellings or other discrepancies.
A small but considerable step forward in building our brand - Yay!
